this magical 5-acre estate and vineyard is canopied by a grove of 500-year old oak trees. After driving through the architecturally designed iron gates, you will see over 100 Tuscan and Spanish olive trees, interspersed amongst a thousand lavender plants and rolling hills of rosemary and agave.
the hacienda Robles estate is a short 2 miles from Vineyard Drive - the gateway to over 300 critically acclaimed wineries - and 10 minutes to the Paso Robles Square, offering fine dining and boutique shopping. A couple miles north is the charming town of Templeton, with its western feel, and A couple miles south, is Atascadero with its magnificent City Hall and picturesque park.
The amazing house was the last home designed by California Signature architect Marcel Sedletzky and is featured in the book “Marcel Sedletzky: Architect and Teacher (Bill staggs, Wild Coast Press, UC Santa Cruz Library, 2002). Seventeen of Sedletzky's many designs were realized in distinctive and dramatic residences along the Central California Coast. He also taught in the architecture program at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, for 18 years. Sedletzky died in Mexico in 1995.
